Great way for booking Limousines
most luxury limos
Limousines, that ride that says that you are riding in the lap of luxury. As early as the 1700’s, the privileged ones of society have enjoyed the luxury of limousine service. The limousine as we now know it in modern times can be traced back to the year 1928 when a coach company by the name of Armbruster come out with a stretch car which some would say was the first “Stretch Limousine”. The cars were mostly used to haul around the famous big band leaders of the day , orchestras and their musical instruments.
During the 1930’s and 40’s stretch cars were being used to take people from airports to hotels and also stretch limousines were gaining popularity with famous movie stars and other celebrities. The stretch cars or “Airporter Stretch Coaches” as they were called were also used to take groups of tourist on sightseeing tours. Eventually Armbruster merged with Stageway Coaches to form a company called Armbruster- Stageway Coachbuilders. Along about 1974 the first six-door funeral limousines were built on Cadillac chassis and then later on Lincoln joined the game.
To this day limousines are still a very popular form of transportation among the rich and the famous. Limos come in lots of different makes and model and even different sizes. There are the famous classic names like Rolls Royce, Bently, Cadillac, Lincoln, and there are Hummers, Chryslers, and Fords. Most Limousines will be of these makes, however there are also other makes available. Theses are the most popular makes of limousines. But there are makes and styles for whatever a persons taste or needs might be.
Four of the most popular limousines nowadays are the H2 Hummer stretch limo, the Ford Excursion stretch limo, a Party Bus, and the Chrysler 300 stretch limo. There are certain qualities about these limousines that make them very popular. There is the Hummer stretch limo which is known for being super spacious, lots of headroom and sports a big screen television at one end. The Ford Excursion stretch limo that happens to be one of the longest limousines that is out on the market, some are up to 140 feet long. The Party Bus that holds groups of up to 22 people, which is good for taking out the whole office. Then there is the Chrysler 300 which is known for its luxury. While these may be four of the most popular limousines that are available they certainly are not all that they are to choose from.
Now most limousines will have some of the same qualities of these that I have listed above and some of them will have other unique features that sets them apart from other limousines. Take for example the new Ferrari Limo, which is said to be the fastest limo in the world. With its sporty Ferrari looks and its sports car performance this is a limo that you don’t see everyday. Then there is the stretch limousine that is over a hundred feet long with a helipad on the end of it. Imagine a car so large that you could have a helipad on it. There are VW limos, Lamborghini limos, Corvette limos, limos with hot tubs, just about anything that you could think of in a limousine is available. There is even a monster truck limo, imagine that.
While there are all kinds of exotic and even outrageous limousines out there, most limousines I believe fit into the more traditional mode. Most limousines and limousine services fit that traditional role of getting somebody from point A to point B in style and comfort.
